Villard de Lans, the Vercors ski resort
Villard de Lans is the attraction pole of the Vercors.
At 1050 meters high, this village of 4,000 inhabitants built along the foothills of La Grande Moucherolle which dominates with its 2285 m. Its advantageous location, easy access and purity of the atmosphere known since the beginning of the century, have created a new economy, driven by the Olympic Games in 1968. With the creation of an integrated resort in the early 70's, called "Le Balcon de Villard-Cote 2000," Villard de Lans has a necessary tool to allow direct access to the ski slopes.
